Our animations combine traditional stop frame using drawn, cut out, puppet and object based animation aswell as computer based graphics and illustration. We can work on commissioned animations for educational resources, exhibitions and shows. We also provide workshops with young people on areas such as storyboarding, animation styles and processes, characterisation and movement. Here are some recent examples .....

Geo De, Geo Da: We are currently working with the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Alston Comprehensive School on an animation which celebrates local geology and the landscape. The animation will be shown as part of an exhibition in Germany celebrating protected landscapes in Europe.
It Rocks: Animation for educational resource commissioned by the North East Museums Hub for Tyne & Wear Museums and Killhope Lead Mining Museum to make geology more accessible for young audiences.
The Doughnut Detectives: A short film with Wearhead Primary School created in 2007 about a body found on the moor. This film has been recently shown at The Co-Op Young People's Film Festival at The National Media Museum, Bradford and at Video Tivoli in Finland. The film was funded through a Chrisi Bailey Award for Young People and Digital Arts and Media won for the school's previous outstanding animation work about the local environment.

Funky Monkey and the Juicy Fruits: A Wild Boor production about healthy eating funded through the Arts Council of England and the NHS on regional tour throughout 2006 /7. Animation used as a back projection during the show and for educational resource for Sure Start and early years centres.
